We are one of the largest and oldest clubs
in the country and we are committed to making riding and competing fun. The club organises a
variety of events and training for horses and riders of all abilities, as
well as competing in team qualifiers for the riding club championships.
Everyone is welcome, whatever your equine interest. Despite many calls on
their time our committee and organisers spend hours on the phone and days in
muddy fields ensuring that we able to run the shows included in our schedule.
We all agree that the very worst bit of the job is trying to get helpers.
Please make this easier for us by volunteering!
Without our very generous sponsors
commitment to the club we would be much more limited in the events we could
put on. Please reward their investment by buying their products and using
their services. Without them we could never invest in the facilities at
Ardingly or secure the high profile trainers that attend our members training
days. On behalf of all the members a very grateful thank you to all the
companies listed on the back of the schedule.
Most of all we want Ardingly to be a riding
club where everyone feels welcome. Our aim is to have something for everyone
and quite a lot for most riders. Wishing you and your horse many happy hours
in 2009. Allison Ingram.
